Haley– CHS Class of 2021 – Lake City-White Springs, FL Senior Session – Lake City, Fl Photographer

Get excited! You’re about to see a lot of amazing and super good looking Seniors on my blog as I feature these awesome teens right in time for their Graduations that are fast approaching <3 <3

For tonight’s blog, Meet Haley. Seriously one of the sweetest girls you’ll meet and ohhh so beautiful!! You can’t forget her two sidekicks/basically her little siblings as well! haha

For Haley’s shoot, we started at the beautiful Blanche and then wandered downtown before enjoying some time in nature out by the Suwannee River in White Springs. After all of that, we headed back to Lake City to capture some pictures on the field she has spent so much time cheering on and then just.in.time….we got to our last location with mother nature gifting us with an absolutely STUNNING sunset! It was sooo hard to narrow down her selections. Please enjoy Haley and her parent’s fave images from her shoot.

Dylan– CHS Class of 2021 – Lake City, FL Senior Session – Lake City, Fl Photographer

Hey all you beautiful people out there! Anybody else feel like this school year has just blown by!? I can’t believe I haven’t blogged since 2020 seniors were graduating and here we are approaching graduation for the Class of 2021 and there are so many sessions to blog!! I’m starting with showing off all of my oh so amazing seniors that are getting ready to walk down the field as that day will be here for them before they know it! I’ve got to say, I am so lucky to have the most amazing group of seniors and I can’t wait to feature them all in their own blogs starting with this sweet guy!

Meet Dylan. To know him is to love him. He is seriously sooo smart and sooo very sweet and handsome too…. but, really, getting to know his whole family, I see where he gets it from. You won’t find a sweeter family! <3

For Dylan’s senior session, we stayed local and started at one of the places he has spent so much time in. He is involved in Student Government and gives his all in supporting his school so it only made sense to have some pictures in there. Next, we visited local landmarks and enjoyed the beautiful nature we have right in our back yards. I’m so excited to share this session with you and so excited to see the amazing things he does in his future. 🙂 Please enjoy his family’s favorite images from his session.

Columbia High Class of 2021 – Your Formal Portrait and Senior Yearbook Ad info

Hey Seniors and Senior Parents! I’ve had a lot of confusion and questions regarding senior pages with my own clients for this upcoming senior year regarding your Senior Formal pics and your Yearbook ad ordering setup so, after a lengthy q&a with your Journalism teacher, I’ve got lots of answers to the questions that are coming up.

First, for those that don’t know, when you book your Senior Portrait Session with me, you also get the option of us custom designing your Senior Yearbook page together so that it’s not one of those few template options they have and your Yearbook page is designed to show who you are in this point in your life and stand out from the pages that all look the same. 😉 There is no extra fee for this service and There’s still some time to get on the schedule if you’d like to lock in your Senior session and get your page custom designed too!

This year, the dates are later than past years so, if you want to lock in your Senior Session a little later in the year to attempt to get cooler weather, that’s an option! haha But, keep in mind, once school starts, you may be trying to squeeze it into an action packed senior schedule to work around.

Now on to some questions that have been coming up.

Do I have to drive all the way to Jacksonville to Cady Studios to get my formal picture for the Yearbook taken?

NO. While normally, Senior yearbook pictures are done during the summer, they did move the dates to a later date due to Covid 19. Some have missed the notice posted with the new dates for Senior Formal pictures to be taken at Columbia High that have been scheduled and they are as follows:

September 8, September 9, September 18, September 19 and Last call on October 10 (can’t be scheduled until later date). You can reserve your spot by visiting this link HERE . It’s not the easiest site to Navigate through and if you click the wrong kind of backdrop you won’t have Columbia High as a location option (note if it says studio only scene, that’s a Jacksonville option only). If you’d prefer to do your whole Senior session with them using their other backdrops, you will need to travel to Jacksonville to their Studio. Also, make sure you select the Florida Columbia High as there’s a Georgia option as well. I’ll include instructions at the very bottom of this page below the Q&A’s for those who need help.

The rest of this post is regarding Senior Pages/Yearbook Ads

When is the deadline for Senior Pages?

As of this month’s changes, there is no early bird/late bird deadlines. All yearbook pages are due by December 1st.

What is the cost of a Senior Page?

There isn’t a deadline induced price point anymore. All Senior Pages are $250 and a yearbook as an add on to your Senior Page is $50. Note, you can pay for them and order both at the same time when you submit your ad or you can order your yearbook later. The cost will still be $50 if you’ve purchased a Yearbook Ad. If you haven’t purchased an ad, you can purchase the yearbook by itself for a slightly higher cost which will increase as the school year progresses.

Can I order my Senior Page in person at the High School or does it have to be online?

As a precaution and to prevent any further spread of COVID 19, They have recently opted for an online only order option for you to submit your pages whether it be the template options where you put your pics into the optional templates available or for your custom page submission. If a parent or student needs help, they have discussed the option of zoom or some other Video conference to walk you through if you absolutely need help and questions answered.

If I want to submit a custom page instead of choosing from the templates, how can I do so?

If you or I are creating your Senior Page (or someone else you know), you will go into the ordering site at yearbookordercenter.com. Enter your school code which is 15259 and click continue where it mentions your school name.

Next, you’ll select the option for “Buy a Yearbook Ad”. Click the size whether it be Full or Half Page and then “buy for a Student”. The site will then ask you for student name.

Currently and until the school year starts, no students names are in the system. You will “Add Student” and manually enter your name and grade level and then click next after you submit and it will bring you to create a login or you can login if you have already created one.

If you are a Senior of mine and would like me to directly upload your page for you and make sure it’s aligned properly before submitting, I will happily do so for you. You’ll just need to send me the Email and Password you created for this account (don’t make it a sensitive password you use often if you want to send me your password).

If uploading yourself, Once you go from there you’ll click on the Single Photo option and upload your design and make sure nothing important is clipped off on your page.

Once you submit your page, you’ll want to add your yearbook to your order if you want to knock it all out at once before you go to checkout. Once at checkout, submit your payment and then you can mark one more thing off your Seniors to do list! woot!

I hope I have helped answer some questions that many have been asking me or if you haven’t started the process yet, hopefully this will help prepare you for what’s to come. 😉 Feel free to share this with other CHS 2021 Parents and Seniors as well.

Show off your Grads with Senior Signs

Want a way to show off your Grad!?

We are in unprecedented times where our normal is not so much. Normally, Seniors are getting to enjoy all of their last celebrations to finish out their High School years with a bang! Grad Night, Senior Prom, planning their Graduation party, etc etc. But, this year, many things have been cancelled and dates are still unknown. 🙁 Finding ways to celebrate your grads is getting harder when they can’t hang out together and gatherings are being prevented.

I was frantically looking for a lab for a client wanting to order their Senior’s grad announcements with no luck but, did however fall in love with Yard Sign options my lab is currently still printing and wanted to share this option with you all. What a fun way to celebrate your Seniors with a beautifully printed yard sign showing your support and bragging on your Grads!? Printed using long lasting, fade resistant inks and made in the US. They come in 2 sizes – 18″x24″ for $45 and 30″x40″ for $55. You can order as little or as many as you like. Family members can put them on their lawns to brag about them as well, etc and if I order 3 or more at a time, everyone who is on that order gets a 10% discount off of that price!

Here’s a link to some samples I threw together of some of the design options using some of my current and past seniors to give you an idea. https://capturedmemoriesbyesta.pixieset.com/senioryardsigns-18x24or30x40/

You can purchase directly from the link if you already have one of the designs chosen, click “buy” on the design you like or contact me for invoice. The font colors, etc can be customized to match their image, etc. This can be done with images I took or that you have taken as long as you have a print release if you did not take it. I’d just love to see all of your pretty Grad’s faces grace the community! 😉 They can be printed vertically as well but, they won’t slide into the metal stake as a vertical so, you’d have to display or apply to the stand in whatever way works for you if you decide you’d want vertical…. they’re great without the stand as well. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to purchase one for a Grad(s) you love!

Cody & Christen – White Springs, Fl Engagement Session – Lake City, Fl Couples Photographer

Adorable Couple alert!!!

I can’t get over how sweet my couples are!! Today’s blog features this oh so sweet couple, Cody & Christen!! These two are highschool sweethearts and if it gives my age away, oh well but, Christen and my daughter are classmates! I don’t know where time went or how it’s possible that they’re all growing up and starting to get married but, here we are. They’re planning their wedding and it’s just months away!

I must say, Cody and Christen are too cute for words and after my own heart, they love being outdoors. We explored the forests of White Springs and then wandered down to the banks of the Suwannee River for their engagement session and I think you’ll agree from seeing their images that, the love they have for each other is obvious! I can’t wait to capture their wedding this year! <3 Please enjoy their fave images from their session. <3
