New Year, New sweet babies on the blog!? I think YES! <3

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you!! I hope you had an amazing holiday season!! I’m back in town and back to work and thought I’d start the year off right by sharing some oh so sweet baby love with Miss Ella Grace!! Miss Ella is an example that even if you didn’t book ahead of time, and baby is now 2 + weeks old, we can still get newborn portraits in so, if you think it’s too late, it isn’t and I will do anything I can to try to fit you and your new baby in the schedule, it just may take a little more patience as baby becomes a more alert baby who isn’t as easy to sleep and might not be as flexible or willing to cooperate for certain poses! haha

But, LOOK AT HER!! We got her to sleep and she let us do our thing and the reward of these sweet images are priceless!! After talking with Mommy, We went with a neutral and floral pattern for her session and because she’s a holiday babe, we got in some last minute Christmas themed pictures of her alone and with Grandpa all suited up as Santa in my costume! hehe How sweet is she!? Ashton & Bethany – Oleno State Park High Springs, Fl Engagement Session – Lake City, Fl Couples Photographer

These two are toooo cute not to blog! Meet Ashton & Bethany.

I loved getting to know these two as we enjoyed seeing deer and checking out all of the fall colors that were aplenty in Oleno State Park… if you’ve never been there, I highly recommend!! Sooo many beautiful hikes to explore. Oh and in the Dogwood season (usually in March), the blooms on the trees are just as gorgeous as the fall colors they presented for Ashton & Bethany’s engagement session.

I’m pretty sure you’ll agree when you see their pictures that these two absolutely adore each other and I can not WAIT to see them say I do in 2020. <3 Enjoy some of their favorite images.

Emma– CHS Class of 2020 – Gainesville, FL Senior Session – Lake City, Fl Photographer

Happy Tuesday all! I thought I would share one more blog before I head out of State for a backpacking trip and have no internet access and ohhh what a treat you’re in for!

I know I’ve said it before but, goodness! I sure do get the most beautiful clients! Meet Emma, CHS Class of 2020.

She chose to go to Kanapaha Botanical Gardens in Gainesville for her session. (Little known fact, Kanapaha is where my hubs and I got married many years ago! <3) Anyways, we got there and the forecast said no rain but, mother nature had other plans. We had to wait it out and it caused us to lose some light.. like, we literally had an hour to run around Kanapaha and get as much variety as possible before they closed and for those that have been there, you know how big that place is! haha After we literally got pushed out the door, we hopped downtown for her next outfit change.

Being that our session was cut short due to the rain, we shot a little mini session in the early morning a few days later with her white dress because well…. I felt it needed the attention it deserved in a beautiful field!! I just loved how the early morning light highlighted her beauty and I’m so glad we decided to add that in! <3

Erica & Brad – Waiting for Baby– White Springs, FL Maternity Session – Lake City, Fl Photographer

There is just something SO beautiful about the anticipation and celebration of a new precious baby coming into this world!! I mean!! Look at Erica! She is absolutely Glowing! And these two… last time I photographed them was when they eloped almost 4 years to the day we shot this session

Here we are, capturing the next amazing chapter in their lives! The fact that they chose me to continue to capture these precious memories is a gift they’ve given me and I LOVE having the honor of being able to record these moments for them. This sweet baby is so lucky to have parents like these two and I can’t wait to meet her!! <3

Darren – CHS Class of 2020 – White Springs, Fl Senior Session

Happy Tuesday!! There’s no bad day for blogging a Handsome Senior, right!? 🙂

Three years ago, I got to capture Darren’s big Sis Riley, and at the time, it seemed like Darren becoming a Senior was soooo far away!! Here we are already and he’s really a Senior preparing for those final high school days before he goes off to school in a future career that I admire.

Darren wanted a simple session just him and the great outdoors… and of course, some pics of him and his truck that he loves so much! Mom also wanted a couple pics of both her babies together. <3
