Mikayla – CHS Class of 2019 – St Augustine, Fl Senior Session Lake City, Fl Photographer

Let’s add some beauty to your Friday afternoon with a session with this Tall, Silly, Gorgeous, Smart, Spunky, Sporty girl named Mikayla! I have had the opportunity to photograph this stunning girl on multiple occasions, and to say she and her family have a special place in my heart is an understatement. From Miss CHS to sports to capturing her final year in High School, I’ve enjoyed the honor of capturing these special times in her life.

Fast forward to her senior session and what a day this was! When we left Lake City for St Augustine, the forecast said no rain but, the closer we got, the weather went down the drain quickly! lol By the time we got there, it was raining. eek!

Thank goodness Mom booked a room at the oh so gorgeous, Casa Monica, where we could wait the weather out and get her ready in between looks (and take advantage of their pool area and snap some shots there too)! haha We started late but, hey, some of the pictures she wanted to have using sparklers so, a little darkness was wanted anyways. We had to work quickly to get all the looks she wanted but, look how beautiful they all turned out! <3

Carter & Kelsey – Waiting for Baby A– North Carolina Maternity Session – Lake City, Fl Photographer

This session gave me all the feels when I shot it and I can’t believe I’m just now blogging it!! I opened up their folder today when I was organizing and was instantly reminded of just how adorable these two are together!

I really can’t say enough about how special this shoot was. One of the perks of my job is meeting people that sometimes become more like family. Kelsey’s one of those special souls! I’ve known her since I shot her Senior portraits and to be able watch her grow and blossom and become the amazing wife and mother that she is now has been a gift. Naturally, this meant I was excited to travel to her home in North Carolina to capture this special time for them.

From the sunflower fields that were abundant in their area to the gorgeous sunset that we just haaaad to pull over and take a few pics with, this day was just perfect. Please enjoy some of their favorite images from their Maternity session. <3

Baby Alice – Lake City, FL Newborn Photographer

How about some sweet and squishy baby love to brighten this stormy afternoon!?

Meet baby Alice and her super proud Mommy and Daddy. These 2 prayed for this sweet angel and now she’s here and making everyone she meets fall in love with her! <3 This little princess was one of the teeniest babies I have ever photographed and oh.my.goodness was she ohhhh so precious! They went with a classic soft and sweet theme for her bedroom so, we kept that theme going throughout her shoot. P.S. Bet you can’t guess what college their rooting for with that pop of garnet color we snuck in on one of these looks! haha

Madison G – CHS Class of 2019 – Gainesville, Fl Senior Session Photographer

Madison, oh Madison! Do you know how much I adore you!? This girl is sweet and spunky, super tall with legs for days, she’s fun and a little quirky, she’s a dancer… more specifically, she’s a clogger, she’s even has been crowned Clogging Queen at a Clogging pageant (see pics from the session here), she’s confident, she’s smart, and just an all around amazing person!!

I’m super excited that she trusted me to create Senior portraits that she’ll hopefully be able to look back upon years from now and still remember how much fun we had and just how stinking pretty she is! haha

The start of our session took a crazy turn when, the forecast showed no rain but, low and behold…. it started pouring as soon as we got into Kanapaha Botanical Gardens (the first location we would be shooting in)! Thank goodness for Mom running to get an umbrella while we hid under the trees trying to not get wet! lol We waited it out for what felt like eternity and then hopped on out and took these first pics in wet conditions (you couldn’t tell from the pics though, could ya? haha) and then we hopped on down the road to Downtown Gainesville in search of texture and all things artsy to shoot the rest of her session.

I think we can agree, we found some great spots that suited the beauty and personality of all things Madison. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her as she prepares to graduate and go on to even bigger and better things.
