Mark & Lauren – Engagement Session – Oleno State Park, High Springs, Fl Photographer

Meet Mark & Lauren. These two….what can I say but…Oh my goodness!! They are absolutely as adorable as they come!! The love and excitement just oozed from them as we talked about how they met and about their upcoming nuptials in the mountains…. in a vineyard. eek! Can’t you just picture it? What a beautiful bride Lauren is going to be!! I’m kind of sad that I won’t be there to capture all of that as well. haha

For their engagement session, we explored Oleno State Park in High Springs and then stopped at Camp Kalaqua before heading to downtown High Springs where we finished off the evening.

It was so easy to fall in love with these two as they are (as you can tell from the pictures) some of the happiest people! The fact that they are ohhh so in love was definitely a given and truly made it SO easy to photograph them!

Mark & Lauren, Thank you for the honor of capturing this special time for you both and I am so excited to see what the future has in store for you both. Here’s to many many years of happiness & love. <3

Miss CHS 2017 – Columbia High School – Lake City, FL Event Photographer

If you missed your chance at being there to witness this year’s Miss CHS pageant, how about the next best thing?…PICTURES!

What a special group of girls that competed in this annual pageant supporting Columbia High Shool! Each of them were absolutely gorgeous! I think you’ll agree when you go through the images.

The Miss CHS pageant has been a staple for Columbia High for many years and Miss CHS 2016, Faith Johnson, did a wonderful presentation with pictures of many of the past Miss CHS title holders and even had several in attendance who got to talk about their experiences. Speaking of Faith, she did a phenomenal job hosting the pageant and eek! at all of her gorgeous gowns she changed into throughout the evening!!

You probably know who won what but, just in case you don’t, I’ll tell you in order of how they were announced:

Audience choice – Mikayla Collins

Miss Congeniality – Lindsey Starling

1st Runner Up – Emily Harrington

and In the end, there can only be one name called as Miss CHS 2017 and that was Mikayla Collins!! Congrats Mikayla on a job well (and beautifully) done!! (wait til you see the shock on her face when it was announced! hehe)

Congratulations to each of the girls!! Just getting up on that stage makes you all winners in my book! <3 Thank you for having me there to capture this beautiful event!

CHS Prom 2017 – Columbia High – Lake City, Fl Portrait Photographer

Goodness Gracious!!! I saw soooo many beautiful students this past weekend all dressed up and ready to have fun! You may recognize some of the girls from this gorgeous group from previous blogs as I’ve had the pleasure of capturing some of their senior sessions as well! They couldn’t book me last year for Prom because another group beat them to it so, they booked me before prom date was even made known to be sure they had me this year! haha

Shooting at 2 p.m. is always a challenge for outdoors sessions when you’ve got the sun overhead but, thankfully, Riley’s grandpa has this amazing tree covered paradise for a backyard right in the heart of the Country Club. So, naturally, we shot their images there before they went off to get in the limo to start their night.

I could go on and on but, I’ll just leave you to check out these images and you’ll see how BEAUTIFUL they all look! <3

Welcome to the World, Baby Connor – 12/19/2016 – Gainesville Fl Birth Photographer

December 18 & 19 were days I will never forget.

Baby C’s Mommy contacted me in July to book Maternity, Birth and Newborns (I got to cuddle him today for newborn portraits) of their precious rainbow baby on the way. 5 months later and the day finally arrived!

Daddy called me on the evening of the 18th letting me know it was time so, off I went to Shands UF Maternity Ward in Gainesville to capture this amazing family’s new addition arriving soon!

Can I just say…. Laura was a ROCKSTAR!! She was so amazing through the whole process and kept her eye on the prize….that precious baby boy! and her hubby, well, he needs Kudos too! He was right by her side, massaging her through the contractions and being the rock she needed to hold onto. I can’t forget a big shoutout to her Doula and the Amazing staff at Shands. Everything went so smoothly and the nurses were sooo compassionate and caring and tended to every request Momma had.

Thank you to the whole family for trusting me to be there to capture this truly once in a lifetime moment in your lives. I’m truly blessed to witness such a miracle.

Welcome to the World Baby Connor. Born on 12/19 at 1:20 p.m. weighing in at 6 pounds exactly.

Hannah M – CHS Class of 2017 White Springs, Fl Suwannee River Senior Session

I just can’t get over all of the oh gorgeous senior Gals and Guys that have chosen me to capture this special time in their lives this year! It was such a fun senior season with all of these beauties and I am so thankful to have played a part in making beautiful memories!

I am so excited to share with you yet another beautiful Senior. Meet Hannah M, Columbia High School Class of 2017. Hannah’s main vision for her senior session was being near water and beautiful scenery. I think I can safely say we met that vision head on!

She didn’t know she would be going on an adventure! haha We hiked through the mosquito infested woods and climbed down to some gorgeous spots on the Suwannee River and then did a little running around downtown White Springs. I just love how everything turned out. It certainly helps when you throw this beautiful girl into the mix! 🙂 Please enjoy some of her favorite images. <3
