Alexis – CHS Class of 2017 – Live Oak, FL Senior Session

Meet Alexis, another beautiful Columbia High School Senior up on the blog! The day of her session came with uncertain weather conditions. Days before it said it would rain and then the night before, the forecast said clear and stayed that way when we woke up the next day so, naturally we go ahead as planned.

The day of the session, we head to Live Oak where we had decided the majority of her session would be photographed. We’re getting some great shots. Go to another area of Live Oak for a few and then stop for a drink (and for her to touch up her hair in the Hardees. Oh how I wish I had snapped a pic!) because it’s hot and wouldn’t you know, we’re barely into her session… and it starts POURING! We waited for what felt like eternity to see if it would stop. It finally does so, we go to our next location and barely get through more before we have to call it quits and reschedule the other half of our session for another day. The second half of her session was shot on her grandparents farm in Lake City where she loves to spend time with her family and can I just say, what a great backdrop it was!

I just love how full of life Alexis is. I have to say she was such a good sport about all of or weather woes! and we got some amazing images despite the weather not being our friend. Such a sweet and vibrant girl and those eyes of hers!!! I’m jealous because they are totally amazing and mine are just…brown. Christian – CHS Class of 2017 – Hotel Blanche Senior Session

Are you ready for some more awesomeness on the blog!? I am so excited to share all of this handsomeness with you today!!

So, when I gained access to the Historic Hotel Blanche, I decided I wanted to keep it exclusive. One Senior Girl and One Senior Boy. Before I even announced what historic place I had access to, Christian’s Mom was calling me with “It’s the Blanche, isn’t it!?” haha So, we got this handsome guy on the calendar for my other Hotel session.

Come day of the session and Christian was such a trooper!! As you can imagine, there is no air condition in this building (since it’s not in operation) and Christian had pretty much all long sleeves. I have to say though, he totally ROCKED his session!!

Christian is as sweet and polite as they come (and smart and obviously handsome too!). He never complained even though naturally, as a boy, he wasn’t excited about pictures. As we moved along and I showed him how awesome he looked on the camera, he got more excited and in the end, he loved his images and so did Mom and THAT makes me happy!

Hannah – CHS Class of 2017 – Senior Session, Hotel Blanche

Meet Hannah! Hannah is a talented beauty with a love for the arts and a girl who knows what she wants and I just LOVE all of that about her! This gorgeous girl has big dreams and talent to back them up. She was even selected to dance with the Rockette’s this summer in New York City which is so amazing since that’s what she hopes to become in the future and I know she has it in her to make it happen!

When we discussed any thoughts or themes for her session, naturally, some of her session had to revolve around dance. Her Mom mentioned that it would be great to find an old dance studio for some of her images and ohhhh did I have an idea! Those of you local, may be familiar with one of our amazing downtown restaurants which I frequent often called Chasteen’s (Soooo yummy!). I always walk the back way in and look to the side through the windows and think about how the old Tucker’s restaurant would be an amazing studio so, when Hannah’s Mom mentioned old dance studio, I made a few calls and eek!! I was able to gain access to Lake City’s Historic Hotel Blanche and the old Tucker’s restaurant for part of her session and omg how perfect it was! After we finished there, we went to downtown Gainesville and to the Helix Bridge to round out the remaining part of her session. Oh Hannah, I’m in love with your session!

Jordan – CHS Class of 2017 – Senior Session, Washington Oaks

Jordan is the first of many High School Senior blogs you’ll be seeing over the next few weeks as I have had the honor and pleasure of capturing some of our local High School’s most beautiful kiddos ……if I do say so myself!

Meet Jordan. Smart, Sweet and a bit silly at times. Especially with her closest friends. When her Mom called me, they wanted somewhere different, maybe a little exotic and with flowers. Oh my, did we pick the right place for what they imagined! Add in how perfect the outfits they chose were and we had winners!!

It was hot but beautiful that day in Palm Coast and Jordan stuck it out and was a true champ and I am just in love with how everything turned out. Meet Jordan, Columbia High School Class of 2017 and her favorite images from her session. <3

Baby Lola – Lake City Fl Newborn Photographer

Meet 8 day old little Miss Lola. I was so excited when I got the call letting me know that she had arrived and couldn’t wait to get my hands on her sweet and squishy self! Seriously! I loooove capturing precious little newborns! I photographed both of Lola’s Big Sis and Big Brother when they were newborns and it’s just so cool to see how she is a perfect mixture of the both of them.
