So, I must first say THANK YOU to my amazing clients and those of you that have supported me and this little business along the way. As business has gotten busier and busier, there have been some growing pains. Many long hours and as someone said this weekend….working 8 days a week.

I love what I do and am so thankful for those of you who are happy to let me do it. While I like the photography aspect, some of the behind the scenes desk time is not as fun so, I have been testing out a company to take some of my workload so that I can do more of what I love and continue to be able to keep booking sessions and events like normal. That being said, I had a lightbulb go off this weekend and realized an assistant is needed to keep with the customer service aspects that I expect for my clients, etc.

So to the point of this post, I am looking to hire a Part Time Assistant. This does not have to be someone with a Photography background as there is no shooting involved. There are no guaranteed hours so, would be best for someone who is flexible and looking for some extra spending money or like a High School student who is dual enrolled and has a more flexible schedule, etc. This is more of a customer service job. You must be good with people and have patience with young children and adults alike and being able to pay attention to detail. There is room to grow but, speed of growth can not be guaranteed. 2016 Lake City Chamber Ball – Event Photographer

What a fabulous night full of beautiful people!! I had such a wonderful time capturing the 6th Annual Lake City Chamber of Commerce Chamber Ball at the Columbia County Fairgrounds Banquet Hall on Saturday, January 23, 2016. This is the 3rd year in a row that I have had the pleasure of covering this event and every year it just gets better and better!

Amy Francis of Imperial Productions did such an AMAZING Job decorating the venue as usual. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the quality and her attention to details that makes every event she handles perfect!!

Welcome to the World Baby Beckett – Gainesville, Fl Birth Photography

There are many memorable days and moments in my career that are absolutely amazing and this day was no exception. It is such an honor to be invited into such private moments to capture some of the most special times in a person’s life.

I was so excited when I got the call last week from Beckett’s Mom letting me know that he was coming and coming soon. There is something to be said about waiting to get that call to rush to the hospital when a mother goes into labor.

On Friday morning (1/15/16), I got that call (or rather text. haha) so, off to North Florida Regional in Gainesville, Fl I went. I arrived about 10 minutes after Amber (Mom) and baby B’s 3 Big Sisters. From the moment I walked in the room and met them all, I knew that he was a lucky little boy. 3 excited sisters and one absolutely Beautiful and strong Mommy. His whole story is amazing.

After many hours, with Beckett taking his sweet time (We figure he was waiting for Dr. Amy Million to come on shift so he can be born with the same ob as all of his Big Sisters. haha) he arrived. I will never forget his sweet voice with that first cry that comes from his first breaths of life. There is nothing else like witnessing a baby being born. Mr. Beckett weighed in at 7 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches long with fuzzy blond hair. Mommy and big sisters are absolutely in love. I think you’ll agree as you can see the love in these images. A gift for him or a gift for you? Glamour and Boudoir Photographer

Valentine’s Day is only a month away!! Have you figured out what to give your significant other? Or just simply want a day of pampering and fun with some glamorous images of yourself? Who says you can’t? Well, this is the perfect time to take advantage of this deal! Half the price of a full session making it sooo affordable!

Our goal for these sessions are to show you just how beautiful you are and to capture this special moment in time for you. You can choose between classy boudoir or glamour images or a mixture of both.

The sessions will be held in a beautiful suite in Lake City, Fl. When you first arrive, you’ll talk to our hair and makeup artists about the kind of look you’d like (as little or as much makeup as you like!) and then they’ll get to work. Once they’ve glamified you, we’ll begin shooting your fabulous images! After the shoot is over, make a night of it now that you’re all dolled up…. go out on a date with that special someone or have a night on the town with your girlfriends and listen to them all compliment you! Or even better… have you and your girls book time slots back to back and get ready together and boost each other up through your sessions.

Each session will include Full Hair & Makeup (by Jessica Johnson of Roots Hair Studio), Wardrobe Consultaion if you like, 1 Mini Accordion Album (You can see an example here) and 6 images of your choice from the session with print rights up to 8″x12″. If you’d like to purchase any additional images at your image selection appointment, they are $15 per additional image to cover the extra editing time.

Alex & Kali – Couples Photographer – Lake City, Fl

In case you’ve noticed, this blog post has the same girl in it. This is the second half of our session that day with these two lovebirds, Alex & Kali. I just can’t get over how adorable they are together. We went from this random spot on the side of the road (where some may have seen us since it’s a busy road to his grandparents house for all that beautiful holiday fun.) I had to share their half too… how could I not? I’m so in love with how they turned out! Please enjoy some of their favorite images from their session.
